Who We Are
EMERGE Zambia is a youth-focused organisation creating spaces for young people to learn, lead, engage and contribute to the issues shaping their communities and the wider world.
Rooted in Zambia and connected to young people and institutions across Africa and beyond, EMERGE brings together leadership development, education, diplomacy, research, dialogue and civic engagement.
Our work is centred on creating meaningful opportunities for young people to develop knowledge and practical skills, exchange ideas, engage with complex issues and translate learning into action.
What We Do
Leadership
We create opportunities for young people to develop confidence, leadership skills and a strong sense of responsibility to their communities and the wider world.
Learning
Through training, academies, workshops and educational programmes, we support young people in building knowledge and practical skills for academic, professional and civic life.
Dialogue
We create spaces where young people can engage with different perspectives, discuss difficult issues and participate in constructive conversations on local, regional and global affairs.
Research & Ideas
We encourage young people to explore issues that matter through research, publications, policy conversations and platforms for sharing emerging ideas and perspectives.
Action
We connect learning with practice by creating opportunities for young people to participate in projects, community initiatives and other forms of meaningful engagement.
